Seasons at WJV: 2nd Season

Coaching Experience: I have been coaching volleyball for over 20 years. I began as a varsity volleyball coach in Darlington, WI. Over the last 10 years, I have been coaching for Badger High School and Lake Geneva Middle School. 

Playing Experience: I played for Iowa-Grant High School and graduated in 1996. I attended and played volleyball at Edgewood College in Madison, WI and graduated in 2000.

Education and Career: I graduated with a double major in Spanish and Secondary Education from Edgewood College in 2000. I also received my Master of Science in Literacy from Concordia University of Wisconsin in 2017. I currently teach Spanish at Badger High School in Lake Geneva, WI. This is my 22nd year of teaching.

Awards & Accolades: As a Junior in high school, my team received 2nd place at the Wisconsin State volleyball tournament.

Family: I live in Twin Lakes, WI with my daughter, McKenna, my husband, Ken, and our new puppy, Sully. McKenna is a sophomore at Badger High School and currently plays for JVC.

Favorite Sports Memory: Going to state in volleyball. Our entire town gave us a send-off, leading us out of town with fire trucks.

Coaching Experience: I have been coaching club volleyball for one year starting at the 17s level.

Playing Experience: I have played club volleyball from the age of 12-18 as I continued on to play a little bit in college.

Education and Career: I am studying to become a teacher and a lawyer:)

Family: My mom is a one women actress and does construction. My father is a retired Lawyer and head of Cook County and, I have an older sister who is a special education teacher:)

Favorite Sports Memory: My favorite sports memory was probably my 17's year at Sky High when we were at a big qualifier in Indianapolis and the intensity of the game was amazing I loved feeling that feeling inside.

Favorite Quote: My favorite quote is "Whatever you start you must finish"

Seasons at WJV: 3rd Season

Coaching Experience: I have had one year of coaching. I coached during my 18’s season with the 10’s local team.

Playing Experience: Former athlete at Wisconsin Juniors for 5 years. 4-year Varsity Player at Indian Trail High School. I played 1 year at Lakeland University

Education and Career: 2020 Graduate at Indian Trail High school. I am attending the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and pursuing a degree in Secondary Education and English. I am planning to pursue teaching English in Wisconsin.

Awards & Accolades: At Indian Trail High School I hold the record for career blocks as well as most blocks in a season. I was also awarded Honorable Mention All-conference my Sophomore year, Honorable Mention All-County my Junior year, and 2nd team All-Conference my Senior year.

Family: I was born in Lake Forest, IL, and moved to Kenosha when I was 3.5 years old. I live with my mom and grandparents. They have supported me through all my years of volleyball. You will probably see them at local tournaments!

Favorite Sports Memory: My senior year was definitely a whirlwind of feelings. My favorite memory, although sad, was making it to sectional finals. Even though we didn’t win, it was still exciting. With the history of Indian Trail, we had never made it farther than regional finals. With my senior year it felt like I was living a dream. This entire season was filled with amazing memories that I couldn’t just pick one.
